I am against hanging him on my front wall... and Riley thinks it is the coolest thing ever and wants EVERYONE to see it hanging there. hahaha.. he pays our house payment.. so he wins -- i came home to this beautiful creature on my front room wall :).
Kaedynn did not know that the Elk was in our front room and we got home late and it was dark.. she went into the front room and DARTED out the back door in 2 seconds SCREAMING. When i went to ask her what the problem was she kept telling me that there was an animal in the house. (i knew that Riley had got it back; so i was not too concerned). Anyways so i got in the house and got the baby out of his car seat, meantime Kaedynn is clenched onto the counter top holding on for dear life. She thought that this elk was going to get her. Finally after 25 minutes i went and picked her up and hauled her up our stairs. She was pinching and grabbing me so tight. She was literally terrified of this thing. I kept explaining that it was dead and that it would not get her. She told me that, "Dad better put that in Remzley's room; so i can shut the door"
She has since become friends with it, and named the Elk Fredward Benson. --Freddy the Elk. She talks to it like it is a real animal now.
Thank Heavens that we got over this hurdle :)
