Farm Boy ?!?!

Riley is quite the farm boy... nice look on him.. Right?

Well the story behind this is, when we have out camp trailer at the house for the winter, we can not fit our ranger past the dog kennel, and the trailer due this this massive rock that was put in by the people before us that lived in our house. So, one day we decided to try to just "climb" over the rock to get the ranger back in the storage shed out back... WRONG It got high centered and stuck.. we ended up tearing down 1/2 of the dog kennel to get it out.

So on one nice Sunday afternoon, we decided to borrow my dads tractor, and REMOVE these massive rocks.

So glad my hubby is a farm boy and knows how to operate this. LOL

Happy 2nd Birthday Remzley!

Baby Boy Remz turned 2 last week. He is such a fun little boy. We absolutely love having him in our family. He is so smart and can actually talk to you and you can understand what he is saying. He skipped the baby gibberish, and just talks. Sometimes he will say 5 words in a row, and say them with a meaning like he has known how to say it for 10 years.

We did a birthday party for him at the house with my family and Riley's family. Here are a few of the pictures.

The kids all watching and helping open up the presents.

Kaedynn LOVED the new toys he got.. lol she has actually been playing with him, and his toys for the last week. They must be very entertaining.

Some of the party guests.

Remz playing with his new tractor he got. He was chasing this around the floor for at least an hour before he moved onto a new toy.

2 of his favorite things right not.. GUNS.. He LOVES them. He will hold anything up and say.. pqu pqu pqu ... and pretend that he is shooting you. I dont know where this came from, because until his birthday, we did not have any toy guns in the house for him to learn that from.

Remz's birthday party at the daycare. They got him a cake, balloons, and candy bar. All the kids sang to him.. and as you can see... he is very serious and not to sure what to think about it all.

He is a big boy! Here are the 2 year stats from the doctor's office:
Weight: 29.7 Lbs 72%
Length: 33.27 inches 21%
Head: 19 inches 39%

Remz loves to be outside. Anytime the door opens he will make a mad dash for it. He has learned how to climb out of his crib, and we have converted him into a toddler bed (November 4th) -- he still has not figured out how to turn the round door knobs, but he can get the ones that are long and skinny open. I keep hoping he will not figure this out for a while longer. The first 2 nights in his toddler bed were MISERABLE! He cried and cried and cried.. finally after 1 1/2 hours, i went and laid with him, and he was asleep in 2 minutes.

He is talking more and more every day, and is really quite demanding with his statements. He knows exactly what he wants and will tell you exactly how it is.

I love him more then words can describe and so glad that we have him!!

Happy Birthday Little Buddy!

All about the kids DAY!

We had a kids day last weekend after we got home from Park City. It all started with baking sugar cookies. This girl LOVES to bake! I think this is the first time Remz has made sugar cookies with us... he was in heaven eating spoonful after spoonful of frosting.. YUK! These were supposed to be "Thanksgiving" cookies, however I didn't have any Thanksgiving cookie cutters, so we just made whatever we wanted.

Here is Kaedynn and Remz with all of the finished cookies.

Here is the kids frosting the cookies. Remz definitely ate more of the frosting then he actually frosted :) He also was so concentrated on what he was doing, he would not stop to take a picture... and look at the camera.

Kaedynn with her favorite cookie creation for the day.

Next up, McDonalds, Kids choice right? YUK! Me and Riley hate McDonalds. BUT it was kids choice, what do you do :) Kaedynn is such a good big sister and helped Remz clear to the top of the play land to come down the slide.

Next up, Disney on Ice. We always take Kaedynn up every year when this comes to town. She LOVES it. We took Remz last year, but he was a little to small to be "excited". This year i knew for sure he would LOVE it, he watches Mickey Mouse on TV NON-STOP. I have DVR Recording and DVR recording of Mickey for him to watch while he plays. He LOVES it. I couldn't wait to see his face when Mickey came out in real life.

Here is Remz and Kaedynn before the show, waiting for it to start.
The Mad Hatter -- pretty cool costume i think.

Peter Pan --  This was one of the favorites of our family.  The crocodile was TOO cool.  I haven't ever seen one like it before :)

More of Alice in wonderland.  These cards were so cool... they were double faced.  Kaedynn kept asking me which face was the ice skaters real face.

Aladdin -- this elephant was HUGE and so incredible. Remz of course had his arm in the air making Elephant noises while the elephant was out. He continually pointed in excitement for the elephant.

Next up, Lion King

And.... the 7-dwarfs -- this was another first for us. We go every year-- how was this year so different?!?!?

The little Mermaid -- we see this one alot-- but always fun to keep seeing :)

Tangled -- this was really short-- but still was exciting for Kaedynn to see. We all loved the movie.

All of the Prince and Princesses dancing in the finale.

Remz saying bye to Mickey at the end of the show.

I am so glad that we have the money to go out and have fun with the kids.. and let them pick what and where they want to go. I know alot of people are struggling to make ends meet.

I love these kids more then they will ever know. So happy to have KIDS days, where they get to pick it all :) They love it.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Riley took me up to Park City for my birthday. We went up last year and got a bunch of Christmas shopping done and it was so much fun -- that we decided to go again this year.

We stayed at the Stein Eriksen lodge -- it was IMMACULATE! Alot better then i even imagined from the pictures on their website. We had our own private hot tub on our own deck. It was so much fun and we LOVED being together ALONE. It was much needed and we had so much fun ..

oh... and PS. We got a bunch of Christmas shopping done again this year-- this could turn into a yearly ritual :)

October Events/ Halloween 2011

Pumpkin carving at Grandpa's house. We do this yearly.. the kids love it. Luckily we had WARM weather as you can tell from the short sleeve shirts. Usually we have coats and heaters in the garage on.

Next up the Sting Town Nightmare Express. If you have not been on this train with your family -- I highly recommend it. It is SO fun and FREE. We go to this every year and every year there is a longer and longer line. We dont get to ride a train every day -- so when we get the chance-- we JUMP on it!

Next up, the Parade for Halloween at school. The kids all get to march thru the school in their costumes. Parents are invited to come watch if they desire. We went last year and this year-- so much fun. I enjoy getting to go and watch the kids and be a part of it.

Here is Kota (my nephew)

Kaedynn AKA Blueberry Girl

I went in and helped with their Halloween party at school after the parade. It was alot of fun, and Kaedynn was so happy that I was there to help. I enjoy doing it and was happy I finally was able to help with a party. I've been wanting to for a while now.

Next we went to the buildings in Lehi to do some pictures of the kids. Here are the results... Remz and Dalton hanging out in the wagon together. Too cute :)

Remz's Professional Pic from Flying W Fotos. My wonderful Cousin did these.

My pretty girl. Love her to pieces.

Remz and Dalton chasing each other down the railroad tracks. They can NOT hold still for anything.

Here is Kaedynn's professional picture from Flying W Fotos, thanks to my wonderful cousin for doing them.

Best Buddies

Dalton and Remz --- 2 peas in a pod.

I want to be a___ when I grow up....

Remz is SO excited whenever daddy comes home in a different vehicle then his normal truck. All night long he kept going to the window saying.. Daddy.. Crane.. over and over.. Finally Riley took him out to check it out. That was not a GREAT idea-- he cried and cried when he got him back out.

Occasionally Riley will bring home a semi truck, and Remz gets SO excited for it. A few days ago, while driving, we passed a semi and Remz said, "Daddy... Daddy's truck" it was too cute. I love how such small things mean the WORLD to kids.

Zoo Trip (Remz's 1st Time Ever)

We went up to the zoo last weekend while the weather was still good.. i have been wanting to go all summer long since Remz LOVES animals and the sounds that they make right now.. i thought he would absolutely love it!! It was a success.. he did!

We did alot of fun things while we were up there... but i will never forget Remz freaking out at the Monkey... the Monkey kept making this crazy screaming noise, that could be heard across the zoo, and when we finally go to him to see what he was doing, He continued to scream and Remz started BAWLING! He was terrified of this Monkey that was making noise... it was so funny.

Heres the 3 loves of my life!! Love them more then anything!!

Me and Remz on the merry-go-round. He was terrified of the merry-go-round, once it started moving and the animal kept going up and down he started crying... I got on and sat with him, and then he was fine. Crazy kid!

Remz with the elephants. These and the giraffes were by far his favorites.

Kaed and Remz on the Rhino... Remz was so amazed at everything, he would not look straight forward for any pictures.

Kaedynn on the merry-go-round. Such a cutie!

Kaed at the Gorilla Exhibit. She is the size of an adult female gorilla... isn't that just wonderful.. haha

Remz hanging out in the stroller, enjoying the ride.

Kaedynn and Remz on the lions.

Remz telling dad that the "g-affe-ies" are right there... he was so excited to see them. He kept saying .. Ohhhh G-aff-ies.. and cup his mouth like a small hole.. haha so cute.

The kids in the dino egg at the playland -- they both got in there and laid down... haha

Kaedynn and Dad on the train ride -- Kaedynn is in a stage where she doesn't want her picture taken.. EVER... drives me nuts... Riley is usually the same way.

Me and Remz on the train ride.

Kaedynn finally smiling for the camera for once.

The kids playing with the ball.
