Me and Riley have ANTI-SIT-AT-HOME disorder. If we sit home for too long, we go stir-crazy. We haven't been out a lot this winter and we were ready to go. As soon as we mentioned a RANGER RIDE Remz would not let up. BAD IDEA for hours he kept begging Riley.. Ranger ride.. Dad.. ranger ride.. over and over and over. I am sure Riley appreciated my telling him :)
We decided to go up to the towers above Saratoga Springs. It was a fun short little ride and the kids LOVED the snow. I had no idea there would be so much, or we would have taken a sleigh with us to pull them on.
It is such BEAUTIFUL Views up there. I hope we go back again soon :)
This picture is looking down over Saratoga Springs/ North at the Point of the Mountain.
Me and Riley ... I really wish he would be photogenic and you wouldn't have to PRY him into a picture.
Kaedynn and her friend Paityn at the top.
Me, Remz, Kaedynn, and Paityn at the top.
Remz's first real time in the snow... he thought it was AWESOME! He kept grabbing hand fulls and throwing it at Kaedynn and Paityn.

New Years 2012 Drive to Strawberry
We decided to go for a drive on New Years Day, 2012 up to the Allen property in Strawberry (Solider Creek). Typically you can not turn off of the main highway, because there is TONS of snow, and the paved road to get to the property is not plowed, mostly only snowmobiles can get up there. Well, this year was SO different, there was very LITTLE snow up there. It was so beautiful, and I have never seen it look like this in WHITE snow before. I was glad we went up and I was able to see it like this.
Remz all worn out, fell asleep on the way home. Babies are so sweet and innocent when they are asleep :)

Christmas 2011
Kaedynn's Ginger Bread house that she made with Granny Jackie.
Here are the before pictures of Christmas before Santa came to our house.
After Santa delivered all the presents. Spoiled little kids :)
Mom and Kaedynn playing her new Monopoly game she got. This girl LOVES board games.
Remz playing with his new race tracks. Succcess! HE LOVED THEM!! (and still does)
Kaedynn opening up her presents. This year she asked for ALL of the Zhu-Zhu pets (RIGHT! There are a gazillion of them) and new Shoes. This girl goes thru shoes like you would not believe. She unfortunately received her mother's FAT WIDE feet and can not fit into many shoes.
Kaedynn examining Remzley's new toys from Santa.
Remzley riding his new "Bucking Bull" (Bukk-a-hole) as he calls it. He loves watching the PBR with Dad when it is on, and so what a better idea then to get him his own.
We had an AWESOME Christmas this year. Everyone got spoiled and was very happy. I know that is not the "True" meaning of Christmas, but seriously, it feels so nice to know everyone got something they wanted and everyone was truly happy.
Riley got me a BUNCH of stuff -- new dishes, Sewing Machine, Picture Frames, New Clothes (From Buckle, which I never get, only on Christmas from him), new cookie sheets, Pyrex cooking containers.
I got Riley new Nerf bars for the Dodge, and new clothes. Let me just tell you, that sneaking NERF BARS in the house that come in a box LABELED all over them, was not the easiest thing in the world-- not to mention they were like 80 Lbs... it was not so fun wrapping them up and moving them around without him looking at the box and realizing what they were. He claims he didn't know-- but I am sure he really did :).
I hope everyone had a good Christmas!! Our house sure did!
Christmas Eve Pajamas
Every year we open up new Christmas Eve Pajamas to wear to bed. Kaedynn was SO excited to open hers and asked for weeks prior to Christmas eve if I could just tell her what they would look like. She loved them and they are still her favorite Pajamas to wear (in February). Guess me and Riley are good Pajama Shoppers :)
Kaedynn's 1st Grade Christmas Sing Program at School
Kaedynn's Christmas Sing for the 1st Grade. She did awesome, and I love going to watch the kids. So much fun.
Visit with Santa
We've kind of gotten lazy at the "visit Santa at the Mall thing" so, the only time the kids visited Santa this year, was at Riley's work Christmas Party. Remz has just woken up from a nap, so he was not in the happiest of moods; however Kaedynn was VERY excited to tell Santa her list of items she wanted (Zhu-zhu Pets, and DS games)
Zoo Lights
This year Aunt Andrea invited us up to the Zoo Lights, we had never been, and I've always wanted to go, so.. we went.
It was FREEZING cold, but we had alot of fun. The only disappointment was that the actual ZOO didn't have any lights, so you could not see all of the animals like you would at a normal Zoo visit. And some places were blocked off, so you could not even walk thru the whole Zoo. But over all, it was way fun and we will probably go again sometime.
We bought the kids new HATS to go, since theirs are old and don't fit them anymore. They both enjoyed trying them on and wearing them around the house for a few days.
The kids bundled up in the Wagon while we were walking around.
Crew, Kaedynn, Remzley, and Harley in the stroller. What a fun night out with the cousins.
Looking at some of the lights. (Kaedynn would not turn around for a picture-- she doesn't like pictures taken any more.. BOO!)
Here is a picture of the Reindeer that were at the Zoo:
Kaedynn was really into the Reindeer this year. She kept asking WHY they were spread out across the valley and not all together at 1 place. I tried explaining that LOTS of people want to see them, so they can only have 1-2 at each place, since there are only 8 Reindeer.
I love kids imaginations. They are so incredible.

Kaedynn's Nutcracker Performance
Back in December Kaedynn did her Nutcracker Performance for her dance class. She did awesome, and has advanced so much in dance. She loves it :) This is her 2nd time doing the Nutcracker with Hot Shots Dance Studio. Both times she had the same role, Candy Cane. She sure makes a cute one if I do say so myself.
Here she is at her night time performance.
Here were her professional pictures done before hand:
This year you could buy a Nutcracker personalized with their name/year on it for a souvenir. We decided to get one, and I'm glad we did. She was so happy she got it and LOVES it. It is still on her dresser in her room.
Kaedynn and Remz after we got home.
Kaedynn's flowers from Granny and Marty.
This year Kaedynn's little cousin Crew came with Aunt Andrea to the performance, and he was CRACKING us up the whole time. He kept asking the funniest questions about the Nutcracker and what was going on. It turned our night of dancing into a whole new experience. LOL
Thank you to everyone that came and supported her. She absolutely loved it!
