Christmas 2010

Christmas morning we woke up about 7:30-8:00 AM. Riley and I had woken up and was talking in bed about how we were surprised that Kaedynn was not yet awake-- When we heard a THUD, 3 very loud foot steps, and a door slam open. Kaedynn ran in and jumped on our bed and said COME ON lets go see if Santa came... So we got up and told her that we would need to go wake up the baby first.. so we all ventured downstairs and to our surprise Santa did come visit us.

Here is our shiny new wagon he left for both Remzley and Kaedynn.

The look after Santa left the presents. Kaedynns are on the left and Remz's are on the right.

Kaedynn checking out the "junk" in her stocking.

We made the kids get in their wagon for a picture before we let them open any presents. As you can see -- Kaedynn did NOT sit.

Mom got the first present; which was a new camera! Thanks Dad -- he had it fully charged and ready to go. It had to be the first so we could get GOOD pictures.

Remzley opening his present -- 2 BIG Tonka trucks! Thank you Santa!

The MESS that they made with all of the wrapping paper.

Remz's new flat screen TV and DVD player for his room.

Kaedynn's new bookshelf that was MUCH needed. She had books scattered randomly throughout the house everywhere. It is so nice to have them all put together on her book shelf.
She also got this new Ipod home station -- she has been asking for an alarm clock, so i for sure thought this was a great idea for her room.

Kaedynn's new flat screen TV in her room. This is 100% better then her old gigantic dinosaur TV that was in there. It looks SOO much cleaner and better in there.

The one thing that she kept wanting and asking for for a few months was new ROXY bedding. I tried to talk her into just getting Walmart brand for 1/3 of the price, but she insisted that she would only want ROXY. So here you have it - her new ROXY bedding. I have to admit, it goes really well with her room! And much better then the odd-ball blankets she has always had on her bed.

Mom got her new camera and a bunch of expensive clothes that I never buy for myself :) and some new sunglasses.
Dad got a new Carhartt coat as the one he has now that he likes is WAY to small, a new Under Armour hoodie and a new wallet.

Kaedynn made out with a whole bunch of stuff, more then intended... a bunch of DS games, her Ipod Alarm Clock, Bookshelf, TV, bedding, a bunch of Barbies, a walking Barbie horse, Zhu Zhu pet stuff, clothes, new perfume, new spinny toothbrush, candy, alvin, simon, theodore beanie baby pets... and i am sure there is more-- but i cant think of anything else at the moment.

Remzley got his TV, DVD player, 2 Tonka trucks, 2 new talking balls (he is obsessed with balls.. he loves them) clothes, new spinny toothbrush, new jacket.

We all had a very good Christmas and loved being with our families.

Christmas Eve 2010

For Christmas Eve this year we had a party/Dinner with Riley's family at Tyson and Michlle's house. After the party we went to my mom's house to do Christmas with her. After there we went home and opened up our new Christmas Pajamas. Kaedynn was so excited this year and kept asking when we were going home so we could open them. She has been asking me for about a month now WHAT her pajamas looked like, so that she could decide if she would like them or not -- but i would not tell her-- and she loved them.

Here are the kids opening up the Pajamas.

Here is our new pajamas all layed out. YEAH for new pajamas. Dad's were a new surprise he did not know about. He kept telling me that he did not want any -- but it is a tradition.. so he got some.. and truth be told- he said that they were comfy.

Here is Kaedynn with her plate of cookies, milk, and note to Santa before she went to bed.

Here is her own personal note-- i love that she writes now. She wrote this all on her own. It Says "To Santa From Kaedynn and Remzley"

We then put the kids to bed and waited for Santa to come. While we were putting Kaedynn to bed she said.. I AM NOT going to be able to go to sleep.. i am so excited. She had a perma-grin on her face that she could not get off.

I love the spirit of Christmas and the Love that it brings.

Photography by Kaedynn

I found these lovely pictures on my camera card. Kaedynn loves to take pictures of any and everything that she finds.

Our 1st Snowman

Riley's work slowed down for the last 2 weeks and he spent alot of time at home with me. Remzley was sick with the flu and cough and cold for a good week -- so he was home with us and so of course we kept Kaedynn home with us too. Kaedynn wanted to build a snowman and play in the snow-- so Riley told her that he would help her make a snow man... after 1 hour i went out and found this beauty in my front yard.
Eyes = potatoes
Nose = an old green straw from the drawer
Mouth = Rocks from our driveway
Buttons = Rocks from our driveway
Arms = sticks they broke off of the tree
and of course he needed a scarf -- but we could not find one that would fit around his fat neck -- so it did not stay on for too long.

This was the 1st snowman that any of us had made. (that we can remember)

Kaedynn's School Christmas Sing Program

Kaedynn's school did a Christmas Sing program for the parents, Riley wanted to go so we both took off of work and went. It was pretty interesting to say the least -- they sung songs that we both had NEVER heard of before. It was fun for us to listen and watch and Kaedynn had fun singing.
Each grade gets to sing 2 songs, but they do not have them go in order -- Kindergarten was the last ones on-- so we got to listen to everyone sing. It was fun to pick out the kids we knew and watch them. I am a good people watcher-- what can I say?

The Kindergarten classes sung "Feliz Navidad" and "The Dradle Song".
They got to make some maraca things to shake during the songs out of milk cartons, beans, Popsicle sticks, and paint. Kaedynn was so proud of her creation. (I didn't get a picture of them-- but i think that they got misplaced in the garbage :()

December Fun

Here are some fun pictures of the kids in December. They both play so well together. I love it!

Here is Kaedynn pushing Remz in her play shopping cart. She loves to push him in it-- and he LOVES to be pushed around in it. They turn on the music and Kaedynn runs around with him in the cart and he dances and laughs the whole time.

Here is Kaedynn at Grandpa's Eddies house after sledding outside.
