We had a kids day last weekend after we got home from Park City. It all started with baking sugar cookies. This girl LOVES to bake! I think this is the first time Remz has made sugar cookies with us... he was in heaven eating spoonful after spoonful of frosting.. YUK! These were supposed to be "Thanksgiving" cookies, however I didn't have any Thanksgiving cookie cutters, so we just made whatever we wanted.
Here is Kaedynn and Remz with all of the finished cookies.
Here is the kids frosting the cookies. Remz definitely ate more of the frosting then he actually frosted :) He also was so concentrated on what he was doing, he would not stop to take a picture... and look at the camera.
Kaedynn with her favorite cookie creation for the day.
Next up, McDonalds, Kids choice right? YUK! Me and Riley hate McDonalds. BUT it was kids choice, what do you do :) Kaedynn is such a good big sister and helped Remz clear to the top of the play land to come down the slide.
Next up, Disney on Ice. We always take Kaedynn up every year when this comes to town. She LOVES it. We took Remz last year, but he was a little to small to be "excited". This year i knew for sure he would LOVE it, he watches Mickey Mouse on TV NON-STOP. I have DVR Recording and DVR recording of Mickey for him to watch while he plays. He LOVES it. I couldn't wait to see his face when Mickey came out in real life.
Here is Remz and Kaedynn before the show, waiting for it to start.
The Mad Hatter -- pretty cool costume i think.
Peter Pan -- This was one of the favorites of our family. The crocodile was TOO cool. I haven't ever seen one like it before :)
More of Alice in wonderland. These cards were so cool... they were double faced. Kaedynn kept asking me which face was the ice skaters real face.
Aladdin -- this elephant was HUGE and so incredible. Remz of course had his arm in the air making Elephant noises while the elephant was out. He continually pointed in excitement for the elephant.
Next up, Lion King
And.... the 7-dwarfs -- this was another first for us. We go every year-- how was this year so different?!?!?
The little Mermaid -- we see this one alot-- but always fun to keep seeing :)
Tangled -- this was really short-- but still was exciting for Kaedynn to see. We all loved the movie.
All of the Prince and Princesses dancing in the finale.
Remz saying bye to Mickey at the end of the show.
I am so glad that we have the money to go out and have fun with the kids.. and let them pick what and where they want to go. I know alot of people are struggling to make ends meet.
I love these kids more then they will ever know. So happy to have KIDS days, where they get to pick it all :) They love it.
