37 Weeks // 3 Weeks to go!!

Well I am now considered full term, and Mr. Man could be coming at any time. I went to he Dr's on Friday 11/6 and for the first time in 1 month i got to see my normal Dr. He called the hospital and scheduled my induction for 11/23--however we are #11 on the list that day, so it will probably mean we will be late at night before we go in (The Dr is hoping before 8 PM) -- 11/23 is the Monday before Thanksgiving so we will probably just end up hanging out at home this year for Thanksgiving. I worry about going around too many people with a 4 day old baby :(. I am normally not one to be too worried about it; but with the H1N1 and all the flu stuff going around.. i would rather play it safe.

The Dr said that the hospital will not let us schedule an induction prior to 1 week before my due date; and the first day that he is actually on call was that Monday... So we are hoping he just decides to pop in early.

My next appt is on Friday the 13th, and my Birthday is on the 14th; the Dr said that he is on call that/this weekend and he will try to "stir things up" and strip my membranes and see if he can get me to go into labor that weekend... rather or not it will actually work.. who knows. Me and the baby could very well share the same birthday.. i would not mind :)

I am now dilated to a 2 and still 50% effaced. So I made a little bit of progress in a week and a half. I keep getting stronger pains, but still nothing that is in a pattern enough that i should start "timing" them to see if i am actually in labor yet. They are still coming in very randomly and maybe only 1 pain every 5-6 minutes. I have been going on walks and going to alot of stores to walk around just to see if it will help me progress any.

I am so EXCITED to think that in 2 weeks he will be here and that we finally get to meet the little fella. Not to mention all my pains and waddling will finally be gone (hopefully).
