Today was yet another Dr's appointment. I am progressing slowly.. i was dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced today. He stipped my membranes today, and said that something may happen... so we are still awaiting the day...
The Dr committed that he would be available on 11/21 which is exactly 1 week earlier from the date that I am due. So we called the hospital, and to my luck Keisha (a long time family friend) was who he talked to, and we are scheduled for that day. Keisha said that unless anything else comes up i should be able to go in at 7 AM that day. YAHHOO!! That means that we just may be able to have Thanksgiving with our families. We will see how the baby is doing, and make sure that the rest of the family is all healthy before we go :) any sickness, we will still stay home, and have someone bring us leftovers afterwords.
The Dr also said that since i am scheduled for 11/21 that i do not need to have another Dr's appointment.. so today was my final pregnancy appointment!! WHAT EXCITEMENT! That means that we have FINALLY made it through my 9 months of misery!
Me and Riley have also decided that we are not going to have ANYONE in the room with us when we deliver this time. Just me, him and the nurses and Dr. I was considering having Kaedynn in there with us; but with the new regulations that she can not come to the hospital.. that killed any thoughts in my mind of her being there. We just want it to be personal this time with our baby.
Last time we did this when Kaedynn was born, there were TONS of people in our room... my 4 sisters, my mom, riley's mom and Riley's sister... WAY TO MANY! So this time will be the complete opposite, and i think will be better.
Well, we are still hanging in there... Hopefully the next post will be that our new little fella has joined us :)
