Dr's Appt

Today I had another Dr's appointment. I am now 33 weeks along (but the Dr is taking me at least a week early) so 5 weeks left!! This was one of those appointments that are kind of "use-less" where you don't really do anything and they just check the heartbeat of the baby and measure your tummy.. So nothing too exciting to report back on. The Dr said that my belly is measuring a little bigger then it should be. Perhaps it is all the fast food we have been eating lately since i don't feel like cooking.. or perhaps we will have a large sumo wrestler baby. Who knows :) This weeks appointment was with Dr Young since my Dr (Parker) has been out of the office for the last week. I go again in 2 weeks and my dr will AGAIN be out of town. If only I had the money and hours of a Dr :) this will be my last 2 week appointment and then i start going weekly until i have the little fella. Dr Parker told me a while back that we would schedule my induction in October.. but since he is/has been out of town we probably will not get this scheduled until my first visit in November.

We can not wait until we have the baby. Kaedynn LOVES to tell the baby every night to "sleep tight" if only she knew how "tight" it was in there :). She also likes to rub my belly and talk to him in there. They already have a bond, and she hasn't even met him.

Also, now the hospital put in their new restrictions on visitors to the hospital. I thought for sure that they would make an exception for siblings to the child to be able to come see them; but our family friend that works at the hospital confirmed to me that they indeed will NOT. So somehow we get to break that BAD news to Kaedynn that she is going to have to wait an extra 2 days to see brother after he is here :( It just kills me and breaks my heart to have to inform her of this. Me and Kaedynn are NEVER apart and if we are it is for a quick sleep over here or there and she is right back the next day. So it might just kill me to be apart from her for 2+ days. But Kassi says she will take care of her and I know that is the best person she can be with while I am away.

My sisters also decided that I need/needed a baby shower, which i am not really opposed to having one; but kind of weird to have one for a 2nd child. They have been putting things together for that, we are doing it on Saturday the 17th from 1-3 (just an open house) if any of you out there did not get an invite and want to come.. you are more then welcome to. It is just at my house.

My photogenic sister is also going to snap a few maternity shots of my belly after the shower on Saturday, just so i have some. This will be our last child; so i decided that i wanted to do some just to have i guess :).

All is well with me and the pregnancy other then I now:
-Have the pregnant lady waddle
-Run out of breath walking up and down the stairs in my house
-I am tired all the time (again)
-Baby likes to SIT and do who knows what in my ribcage on the left side. He seriously has me in tears some nights.

I have my lovely husband and daughter to listen to my every ache and pain.. i am sure that they are both ready to smack me some days and tell me to shut up... but as gracious as they are.. they just continue to listen to me and hope that the day will soon be here :).
