Baby Room

We have been working on our baby boy's room for a few weeks now.. we are almost done!! Riley just has to paint the ceiling and the door jams/frames and then we have to go get molding/board to go on the middle of the wall to separate the colors. Oh and of course, we have to get his name in vinyl lettering to go on the wall as well.

Here are a few pictures of the progress on the room.

This was how the room looked (Bare White Walls... YUK!)

This is the 1st set of tape we did for 2 of the colored stripes.

This is after we painted the first 2 colors of stripes... letting it dry.

Next... I re-taped all of the painted stripes so that we could paint the next 2 colors of stripes. (PAIN IN THE BUTT!!)

This is with all of the tape off of the stipes and the painted upper part of the bedroom walls.


This is after I spent about 3 hours painting the floor boards :)
I am pretty sure that next time I will spend the extra money and just go buy new ones and paint them. My big prego belly and bending down to paint these boards that were already attached to the wall just didn't work out so well :)



WE ARE ALMOST THERE!! I can not WAIT to get the room done so we can get all of the baby stuff set up in there. My house has been a complete DISASTER for about the last 1-2 months. I just keep telling myself that it will be well worth it in the end to have a CUTE baby nursery.. Since this will be our last child and we did not get to do anything for Kaedynn's nursery because we were renting..
