Remzley's 12 Month Stats

Remz's 12 month appointment was the day after his birthday, November 22nd 2010. The doctor said that he is doing well overall.

Here are his Stats:
Weight: 25.9 lbs - 87.91%
Height: 29.25 inches - 33.58%
Head: 18.4 inches - 62.04%
*His weight went from 25.07 at 9 months, to 24.8 at 10 months to 25.9 at 12 months. He has finally stopped GAINING so much weight.

-He is a steady crawler and goes EVERYWHERE. He has had 1 trip DOWN the stairs, (on accident and flipped 2 times on the way down) longest 10 seconds of my life watching.
-He loves ALL Food... i have not really found anything that he HATES, other then those 3rd Gerber foods, that have meat in them -- he throws them up EVERY TIME I feed him them.
-He is transitioned from Formula to milk - 100%
-He no longer has a bottle, sippy cup only
-He says a few select words, Momma, Dada, HI (this is his fav)
-If you tell him to dance, or shake his booty, he moves all around.
-No walking yet-- or any desire for that matter. He has been walking around furniture for about 1-2 months and will not let go, and go on his own.
-He will stand up on his own and stay there for a little bit.. about 5-10 seconds before he reaches straight for the ground.
-He can go up the stairs, but CAN NOT go back down, he does the head first move and scares you to death
-He pretty much eats normal human food now, no more baby foods (unless we eat something he cant eat)
-He has 6 teeth already
-He is a MONSTER when you change his but and flips all around and freaks out. He HATES it.
-He is scared of the water in the bath tub, if it gets any higher then his ears he FREAKS out.
-He hates his nightly rub down of lotion after he gets out of the bath, (but it is necessary from his baby eczema)
-He goes to bed about 7:30-9:00 PM and sleeps until about 7:00-7:30 AM every day. (except on weekdays, i have to wake him up for daycare about 6:30)
-He is SO happy -- You would never guess that he was such a fussy baby.
-He is a HITTER -- he hits everything and everyone. We try to hit his hand back so he gets the point that he can not hit, however he thinks that it is funny and a game. So we try to firmly tell him NO and he still just looks at us like we are crazy, and usually hits us again. I have no idea how to break him out of this -- it is hard. If you do something he doesn't like (like put him down from holding him) he will crawl after you and HIT your leg and give you a crusty look.
-He screams about everything. You will just hear him all of a sudden squeal/scream for no reason and sometimes continues on his scream for 5-10 minutes.
-He knows his sisters name, when we say it he just searches all around the room for her.
-He loves to throw and play with balls.
-He still loves to be outside. Any opportunity he gets to get out of the house, he runs for the door.
