Update on us.

I can't believe that my baby is already 5 months old! Time just keeps flying by to fast.

Remz weighs 18 lbs 2.5 oz on his 5 month birthday. He cleared up with his sickness he had for about 2 weeks and then on Easter Sunday he got all of his sickness again and still has it right now. After throwing up 3 mornings in a row from coughing so hard, I took him on the doctor on his 5 month birthday, and he told me that he "thinks" he has a secondary bacterial infection. He wanted to give him an antibiotic to see if it will clear it all up. After the 2nd dose of the medicine-- he already sounds alot better. Hopefully we can get him better-- and keep him better. I feel so guilty that he is sick all of the time, and that i have to work and make him go to daycare which is germ infested (i am sure) while he is so little. But I guess it will be good, and build his immune system for the rest of his life. Kaedynn had these same things happen.. and then after 2 sets of ear tubes and removal of her adniod gland - she never gets sick anymore. So i am sure after time he will be just like her and be immune to any and everything that passes by.

He is such a happy baby and talks and coo's all day long. He is not quite rolling yet. He has done this twice (from belly to back) but it is not really something he "loves" and continues to do. He giggles some times-- but it takes quite a bit to get a good laugh/chuckle out of him. I think he is going to be like his dad, and be serious all the time. He loves his big sister and she can get him to smile anytime that she looks at him.

This is how he ALWAYS is-- everything goes in the mouth. He loves to suck on his hands/arms/ etc whatever he can find that can get in there.

Check out these CHUNKY legs... lol They are too adorable. I can't wait to be able to put them in shorts and let them hang out. They are so cute.


Here is a picture of my BIG girl. Can't believe that she is going to be 6 years old this year... My hubby told me the other day "Think about it.. she is going to be driving in 10 years" i about had a meltdown... time goes TO fast with kids. We are enjoying every minute with them.
She has her first loose tooth, her bottom front tooth. She tells me every morning that i can not brush it because it is going to make it looser.. She has been wanting to have a loose tooth for over a year now. It is now here and she does not want it to fall out. HAHA You have to love her.
We enrolled her in T-ball this year. I hope that she will like it. I want her to go and experience everything that she can and find what she truly likes to do. We are also going to be doing swimming lessons again this year.. she begs to go there.


Me and Riley are hanging in there. We have been crazy busy between the two of us. 1) Our bedroom needed to be painted-- so we got that pretty much painted - we still have to do the ceiling and put the wood trim around our window that we bought.
2) Our dishwasher went out so we had to buy a new one. We got it and installed it and started it for a cycle, everything appeared to be OK so we went to bed -- the next morning we woke up and there was water EVERYWHERE!! all over my hardwood floor. The boards on my floor are now coming up and look warped. I am so MAD! Mainly because our hardwood looks nice in our house- and we do not have the money to lay new hardwood floor down again. We may end up just throwing a rug over it for a few years. WHAT A PAIN IN THE BUTT!
3) While mowing the lawn last Sunday there was a puddle of water coming out of the sprinkler box in our yard.. so my hubby had to dig the hole out and try to see where he water was coming from -- after digging it out and fixing NOTHING the leak was gone. He thinks that the valve on the water was not turned all the way so it was leaking..
4) We sold our camp trailer-- We had to put an extra $2000 with it to get rid of it-- but we have been wanting to get a toy hauler so that we can go anywhere we want.. whenever we want. So we got rid of the trailer and have been searching for a toy hauler.. We have not had any luck yet- I can not believe how much money these things are! We found our dream trailer used (which is hard to find) for $30K but it has been hammered and thrashed. It needs to be cleaned and a few things need to be fixed on it still... We have been trying to talk the them down to a lower price. The dealer it is at is a car dealer and it has been sitting there for 2 months. We offered them $22K for it-- and they said no way. So we left- The owner called Riley the next day and told him that they would give it to us for $27,4 OUT THE DOOR! Which is literally a KILLER deal on that trailer (other used ones we found identical to this are going for $39-$40k)-- but that is SO MUCH MONEY to spend on a trailer.. WHAT TO DO???!?!?!?! We keep debating back and forth and keep our eyes on it to see if it is there everyday. We are hoping that maybe if it sits there for another month they will come down even lower on the price just to get it off their lot... PLEASE cross your fingers for us :)

I finally got my gym membership reactivated -- but haven't made it there yet due to all of this stuff coming up. Riley can not get anything done with both of the kids.. We haven't been in bed before 11 PM this whole week. It has been VERY crazy at our house. I am hoping that things will slow down so that i can go to the gym and loose a few (OK not a few.. alot) of pounds.

I hope everyone is having a great spring so far. We can not wait for summer time. We are supposed to be going to Moab over mothers day in May.. I can't wait.
