I love to just sit and think about how great my family is and the fun things that they do. Here are a few recent things that I LOVE about them -- things that make me smile on a gloomy day :)
- The other morning I woke up and to my surprise all 4 of us were in our bed :) Kaedynn loves to sneak into our room in the morning and turn on a cartoon -- and snuggle up with you. (I think we are going to need a bigger bed soon :) )
- Kaedynn read a WHOLE book all by herself the other day. I am so proud of her, and proud to be her mommy. (Even if it was a 5 word/sentence a page book -- that is great for my preschooler) I love that she is so smart and catches onto things so quick. I hope that never goes away and sticks forever!
- I went to tuck Kaedynn into bed and she was sound asleep:
1)I found her with both her feet up on her dresser and her head at the middle of her bed.. SOUND ASLEEP!
2) A few nights later I found her in her bed, with her head sitting straight up on about 5 pillows, with ALL 6 of her McDonalds Chipmunks lying next to her.. All straight in a row, with Alvin/Brittney, Simon/Jeanette, and Theodore/Elenor-- Just in that order. (I think she is going to be a organization freak just like me -- poor girl)
I wish i would have gotten a picture of her both of these nights. It was so funny.
- Remzley slept the other night for 7 1/2 hours :) Too bad it was a 1 time thing :)
- Remzley has also been sleeping in his OWN bed (in our room) but I have kicked him out of our bed every night -- Which means more snuggle time with my wonderful Husband.
- I love Riley for everything that he does. He has worked 7 days straight this week (including today-- Superbowl Sunday) just so that i could have my time off for maternity leave and we wouldn't get behind on any of our bills. How many other guys in the world would do that?
On a side note I go back to work on Tuesday and Thursday this week. I am really not looking forward to it.. but you gotta do what you gotta do. Right? I go back full time 5 days a week on the 15th (well 16th b/c of the Presidents Day Holiday).
I am getting so nervous to send the kids back to daycare. Especially Remz.. He has never been away from me for a long day. But i know that the daycare will take GOOD care of him. That is part of the reason that we decided to have another child.. we FINALLY found a GREAT daycare that we trust and love. They are the best providers out there I think.
