Today i had my 1st Dr's appointment. I was suppose to go on May 8th, but we are going to Moab that weekend, for mothers day. So i called to cancel, and they could not get me in again until 5/19 (13 weeks).. i could not wait that long :). She said that they had an appt today at 11:30 so i took it... I guess i should have waited, because it was a "pointless" appointment. They didn't check for the heartbeat, because the Dr thinks i am a week behind what the "charts" say, and am 7.5 weeks instead of 8.5 weeks (according to the size of my uterus), and that he didnt want to try to find the heartbeat because, it would just worry me if they didnt find one (boy does he know me!). So he said that i would need to go back in 4 weeks for my next exam, and he will check the heartbeat then. He did say that because i am nauseated, and tired all the time, and my breasts are sore (:)) that he thinks those are great signs to a successful pregnancy, and thinks things are going great.
So, really no update, other then i am a week behind where we thought i was, and the new due date is LONGER away at 12/4 now. YUK!
Hopefully the next appointment is a little bit funner, and will tell us a little bit more :). It is scheudled for May 21st.

I think its funny you cancelled your original appt for a vacation!!! yay. BTW, my breasts are sore also.... does that mean Im pregnant????????? jk
